From the approach of Anthropology of Interaction (e.g., Takada 2019), I am working on research with respect to the following interrelated themes in southern Africa and Japan.

(1) Language Socialization in caregiver-child interaction
(2) Environmental perception and way-finding practices
(3) Transformation of ethnicity in the contact zone
(4) The influence of Christianity and Western education on the
  reorganization of indigenous societies
