I had often got sick from when I was a child, so going to a hospital has been like a daily routine for me. I had hated going to the hospital, so I was always trying to come up with ways to avoid going there (though I am sorry for my parents who took me there). I wondered what other people do when they get sick and this curiosity led me to my current research in the tropical rainforests of Africa.
