コンゴ民主居和国(旧ザイール)イトゥリの森に暮らすムブティの子供達とともに。

生態人類学,民族学, 地域研究

 研究テーマ

中央アフリカの狩猟採集民と,農耕民の社会を対象とした人類学的・民族学的調査資料をもとに,多様な自然観や自然利用,およびそれらの共存関係や変容について考察している。また,人類学的な立場から自然の保護やその持続的利用について検討している。
